Ingredients
Spicy Ahi Poke, 1/2 Pound
Wonton Wrappers, 1 Package
Jalapenos, 2-3 Jalapenos
Unagi Sushi Sauce
Green Onions
Neutral Oil
Water
Directions

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound spicy ahi poke
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (Sun Noodle Brand recommended)
  • 2-3 jalapenos, sliced thinly (approximately 1/8" thick)
  • Unagi sushi sacue (Kikkoman brand recommended)
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Neutral oil for frying
  • Water

 

Directions

  1. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of poke on the wonton wrapper and top with a jalapeno slice.
  2. Add a little water on all edges of the wrapper to ensure the wrapper closes. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, securing the poke and jalapeno in place. Then fold both tip corners in to form a "purse-like" shape.
  3. On medium to high heat, deep fry in neutral oil for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  5. Once slightly cooled, arrange on a serving plate and drizzle unagi sauce on the wontons. Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
